This series fires 99.9% pure silver into glass at temperatures similar to the earth’s mantle. In this environment, elemental silver reacts with the silica in the glass to create opalescent rainbow clouds reminiscent of the IC 1805 Nebula, which is found in the Cassiopeia constellation and never sets in the Canadian Arctic sky.
