This series fires 99.9% pure silver and gold leaf into glass at temperatures similar to the earth’s mantle. In this environment, elemental silver reacts with the silica in the glass to create opalescent rainbow clouds reminiscent of the IC 1805 Nebula, which is found in the Cassiopeia constellation and never sets in the Canadian Arctic sky.
Please note: Each piece is made by hand and one of a kind. No two pieces are ever the same making this pendant your own truly original Artglas. Each piece is signed by a small engraved triangle on the back of the pendant.
