Venice Collection - "Northwest Constellations" 1/1

This special piece was featured during the 2022 Italian Glass Weeks as a representation of Canada's emerging glass art techniques.

"Northwest Constellations" uses 24 karat gold to create fine golden veins representative of our Northwest Canadian golden mountains. It features three 24 K Gold nuggets embedded inside the glass forming our constellations in the night sky.

The Venice Collection incorporates 24k gold with glass. Each piece is carefully assembled with 24k gold nuggets and leaf suspended between clear glass and fired multiple times to reach the desired effect. The golden glass is then cut by hand and melted onto a backing of black glass.
