Wildflower Collection: Wild Columbine
"Wild Columbine"
Aquilegia canadensis
Wild columbine’s abundant nectar is important to pollinators in central and easter North America. While the flower’s shape is often likened to that of a jester’s hat, wild columbine flowers are used to represent steadfastness, resolution, and protection.
Columbine Flowers are often given to welcome spring, give strength or protection during hard times, offer support to see an endeavour through, and as a symbol of gratitude for being supportive.
Stay steadfast and persevere, believe in things that are not yet seen - the full picture has not yet been revealed.

Canada Wildflower Sculpture Collection
Always radiant and never-fading flowers add life and interest to windows and homes. These handmade sculptures are the inspiration behind the miniature glass flower sun-catchers in our "Artglas Sentiments Collection."
Fired and fused at 1330 Fahrenheit in my studio kiln, this beautiful glass sculpture glows even on a dark cloudy day.
